Samantha & Kyle have been waiting so long for their wedding day! They’ve been together for over 5 years & engaged for 3 years! They had initially planned to get married in 2020 but… well, ya know… COVID. But they were able to move their date and all their vendors along with them to April 29th (which happens to be my own wedding anniversary! :)) They went from an August wedding date to getting married in April which is SO different, weather wise! April can be cold and rainy and while the forecast all week, and morning, called for rain – these two got so lucky and it only rained a little bit! They were able to do all their portraits outside and have the ceremony outside just like they always planned to 🙂
Their first look was one of my favorites! Before we went out, Samantha told me she wanted to react to seeing Kyle along with him seeing her. I LOVED that idea! So we placed them back to back and at the same time, they finally saw each other as a bride and groom. From that moment on, the tears didn’t stop! Samantha said all day long that it never felt like her wedding day and I think that says a lot about how stable their love is 🙂 It wasn’t a day to be nervous about… it was a day to just celebrate them, eat good food and dance together!
It was definitely their wedding day though because their details were stunning! I WISH you could have smelled their reception space – it was heavenly! The entire space was filled with flowers and candlelight, it was just the prettiest! The blue dresses the bridesmaids wore popped perfectly off the pinks and greenery in the room. And watching these two dance share their first dance surrounded by their loved ones singing along to “Can’t take my eyes off of you” was one of my favorite parts of the day! All three toasts brought tears to their eyes – and the best man even serenaded them a bit 🙂 When the guests left the party, they were treated to their own little personal pizzas! It was an incredible day – SO worth the wait!! 🙂
Enjoy getting to see the highlights of this sweet couple’s day! Sam & Kyle, I hope you’re having the best time on your honeymoon!!! Congratulations to you both!!
