Natalie & James got engaged at the end of 2019 and immediately began to plan their wedding day with over 100 guests at a beautiful country club in Pennsylvania. I’m sure you know how this story goes… lovely 2020 comes along with the coronavirus and it changed everything, including their original wedding plans. They decided it would be safer to keep things small and intimate. So they rented a house, invited only 40 of their closest family and friends and privately celebrated their wedding day. They practically did it all themselves! They set everything up in the house the day before, Natalie’s close friends did her hair and makeup, their friend bartended all night long (bar James!) and they simply played their favorite music through a speaker system all night long. Dare I say this was one of my favorite wedding days EVER!?

I don’t know what it is about these smaller wedding days that truly fill my heart with so much joy. Maybe it’s showing that no matter what happens, love does still win. Maybe it’s showing you don’t need a LOT to make a magical wedding day happen. Maybe it’s all of that combined but I left this wedding with my heart FULL of joy for these two! I was SO happy they had an absolutely perfect wedding day. It was the first day of spring and it was GORGEOUS outside! Everyone looked amazing, all the food they had ordered was DELICIOUS! It was ALL so wonderful! And their guests clearly had the best time celebrating with them! What a lucky bunch!

I felt like the luckiest photographer ever! I was one of the ONLY vendors hired for their wedding day at the end of it all and it was my absolute HONOR to have been there capturing it all for them! I felt like I was hanging out with old friends all day long and cried happy tears right along with them the entire time. It’s such a joy to share my favorite images with you all today!
