I ALWAYS tell my couples when they are deciding on a location for their engagement session to be true to who they are as a couple and really pick a location that means a lot to them. Carly & Josh stayed true to who they are and what they love and chose the BEST location for their engagement photos! These two are Irish, love to spend their weekend’s at Josh’s family friends’ bar and since they are getting married next year right around St. Patricks Day (totally on purpose!), taking their photos at an Irish pub was a serious no brainer!

These two have known each other since high school! They dated for a bit back then and broke up for a bit after. But some of the best love stories are after ALL that time, how you can find each other again! I mean, that’s pretty magical when you really think about it! They met again on St. Patricks Day at a bar and the rest is history! They’ll be getting married next March right before St. Patrick’s Day! So now this engagement session makes even MORE sense! lol It was perfect!

Their friend let us into the bar early on a Saturday morning before opening so we had the bar all to ourselves 🙂 I am totally spoiled from this session and am hoping all future bar engagement shoots shut down for us! lol I really just had the best morning with these. It was so fun getting to know them both, laughing together and talking all about their wedding day plans. I’m expecting lots of green and greenery that close to St. Patrick’s day and can’t wait!! 🙂 For now, enjoy the first engagement session of 2020 on the blog!!
