This may be my last beach engagement session of the year and wow, was it a pretty one! October can be a really cold, ESPECIALLY for a session on the beach. And honestly, it was REALLY cold the day I met up with Katie and Jared! But by some miracle… it was so warm by the time we met up! We lucked out! Because of the chilly weather earlier in the day, there were barely any people on the beaches which made it so much easier for me! Katie and Jared also happened to be wearing the perfect clothes for a beach session! They just POPPED off the beach and the ocean… I was so worried she’d be cold in her gorgeous dress but it worked out perfectly and the wind blowing her dress on the beach is just so dreamy!!

I loved finally meeting Katie & Jared! It felt like when we spoke on the fun, we instantly CLICKED! I couldn’t wait to meet them both in person and it was really fun when they told me they were bringing their brand new puppy, Ryleigh, along for the session! Goodness, I just LOVE puppies and she was a CUTIE!!! She was so hyper and squishy but was the best in front of the camera! I swear I say that about every dog I photograph but she really was! lol She loved getting her photo taken! She also helped Katie and Jared feel more comfy in front of the photos. That’s something all dogs help with but something tells me, even if she wasn’t there, these two would have been all smiles the entire time! I could see the love radiating off them both as they hugged or simply held hands! It was just so fun spending the evening with them both and I can’t wait to see them again next year for their WEDDING!! Enjoy my favorite images from their beautiful engagement session for now 🙂
