I look at Jane & Sean’s wedding day images a week later and truly forget that that morning, it was POURING! All week long was one of the rainiest weeks we’ve had in a long time and it was threatening rain for their wedding day up until that morning. Suddenly, it cleared up and got warm. The rain dried up, the storms stayed away and it ended up being the most beautiful summer day in June!
Jane & Sean planned such a gorgeous day… but everything they did was SO intentional. They chose Liberty House in Jersey City because they met while she was living in Hoboken and Sean, in New York City. It was the perfect venue to highlight their love of both places. It was also past the intersection of Audrey Zapp Drive and Philip St. Those are the names of Jane’s beloved grandparents, that celebrate their own anniversary the day after Jane and Sean will! They couldn’t fly in and seeing their names just a block down from their venue was the best sign there was that this is where they were meant to be married! And thanks to the magic of technology, grandma and grandpa got a sneak peek of Jane before she walked down the aisle – and got to watch the whole ceremony through Facetime! 🙂
There’s so much I will forever remember from their wedding. Their insanely adorable flower girls (that I just couldn’t stop taking photos of! lol), their PACKED dance floor, how windy it was for portraits and yet somehow they still managed to look flawless. But I will NEVER forget their sweet first look. Jane walked up behind Sean and through tears, told him to turn around. He turned around with the BIGGEST smile on his face – one that never left! And as he hugged her, he said: “I’m one lucky guy”. They both are so lucky to have found each other. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect couple if I tried. It was such an honor to be there capturing their day for them! Enjoy this gorgeous wedding at Liberty House Restaurant!!
