I’m so excited to be blogging my first wedding of the season! Dana & Kyle’s sweet wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park was the perfect way to kick off my 2019 season! From the sweetest couple to the gorgeous wisteria purple details to the best reception suprise I’ve ever seen! Just wait until you see how they suprised their guests, if you haven’t already seen on my Instagram 😉

Dana & Kyle booked me what feels like a million years ago – I was actually VERY pregnant when they booked me for their wedding! Last March, I saw them for their beautiful engagement session on a GORGEOUS early spring day… and we prayed that we’d have the same perfect weather for their wedding day. Luck was on their side! It snowed just a few days before and on their wedding day, was in the high 50s! Dana came prepared to her winter wedding day with a faux fur shawl and didn’t wear it once! That’s a good problem to have 😉

Dana & Kyle were married had debated long and hard whether to do the first look but ultimately decided on a church ceremony with the traditional first look as she walked down the aisle. That was such a great decision because seeing them both look at each other was one of my favorite moments of the day! Kyle couldn’t stop the tears from forming and who could blame him? Dana looked SO stunning! They then danced the night away at The Palace at Somerset Park. I’m not sure what it is about this venue but it is my absolute FAVORITE! Maybe it’s all the pretty white marble on the outside… or the delicious food on the inside! They danced all night, sipped their signature cocktails and ended the night with the biggest and best surprise! We grabbed everyone outside for what they thought was a group photo when it was really FIREWORKS!! It was AMAZING and so fun to see everyone enjoy them with the newlyweds!

I have had such a great time getting to know Dana & Kyle over the last year and am so honored to have captured their big day! They are now back from their fun and exciting honeymoon where they took a cruise and island hopped and I’m so excited to FINALLY share my favorite images from their wedding day!!
