I have been looking forward to Briana & Peter’s wedding day for SO long – literally! They were one of the very first 2018 weddings I booked and the minute I met her and her mom at Panera Bread, I instantly loved them and become overcome with joy over the idea of photographing their wedding day. I remember that meeting like it was yesterday because it was one of the most FUN client meetings I ever had! And that’s exactly what their wedding day was, so so fun. It was full of so much laughter, so many (happy) tears and it was everything I know they had dreamed of and more. I arrived where Briana was getting ready with her girls to the best boyband playlist playing and the girls all finishing their hair and makeup! They sipped champagne and sparkling rose in their pretty robes and then got dressed to help Briana into her STUNNING gown. As she got dressed, everyone was taken aback but how strikingly beautiful she looked. I mean, she is already a beauty but as a Bride she was breathtaking. We knew Peter would be blown away the second he laid on eyes her. There wasn’t a dry eye in the entire church as Briana entered, with her arm around her dad’s, and Peter watched her walk towards him with tears in his eyes. I’m pretty sure before the doors even opened, he was overwhelmed with emotion. They held hands throughout the entire ceremony, exchanged vows and rings with the biggest smiles on their faces and became husband and wife! The most beautiful part of it all is they were married at the exact same church her parents got married at! They also took their photos where their parents did too – in Spring Lake! We took portraits in the park by the lake, on the beach (which in October was completely empty!!) and then made our way to The Mill Lakeside Manor for beautiful sunset photos by the lake, with swans watching them 🙂 I mean… WHAT!? It doesn’t get better than that. The reception started as they walked out to Hedwig’s theme (I don’t know if you remember their engagement session but Briana is a Harry Potter nerd! WHOO!) and they shared an incredible and adorable choreographed first dance. Oh my gosh, I teared up watching them. And then, when I couldn’t feel any more emotional, they had THE sweetest parent dances! Peter invited his mom onto the dance floor and they swayed, tearing up together as they danced. And then Briana not only invited her dad to dance with her but her mom and brother to share the dance floor with them – since her brother had a small wedding when he got married and they didn’t get the opportunity to do so at his wedding. This was her wedding gift to her mother. OH. MY. GOD. This absolutely killed me lol and everyone else in the room! It was just the sweetest! After that, it was all fun and dancing for the rest of the night! 🙂 The dance floor was full all night and they had the BEST time dancing together. It was such a beautiful day in every way and I could not be more happy for these two. Briana & Peter, THANK YOU for letting us capture your joy and your love! We had the BEST time with you guys and wish you nothing but endless love and happiness! Enjoy my favorite images from their wedding day! 🙂
