Katie & Bill’s wedding day was one for the books! The gorgeous Ashford Estate was their backdrop and from the minute you drive through the property’s gates, it’s like you’ve been transported to a chateua in the French countryside. Their gorgeous custom invites set the tone for their guests of what to expect and it did not dissapoint. The guys looked handsome in their blue suits and brown shoes (an all-time FAVORITE combo for groosmmen!) and the girls looks stunning in their blush dresses. Katie and Bill? They looked FLAWLESS all day long. It was not just hot out, it was sticky disgusting hot – and you would NEVER know. They don’t look like they’re sweating a bit, just GLOWING in that summer heat. They were married in the barn that was decorated so simply with gorgeous greenery and guests were given program fans to help them keep cool – the ceremony was so beautiful. I think my favorite part was all the guests applauding as each member of the Bridal Party walked down the aisle, including the adorable ring boy and flower girl who did SO good! 🙂 But when Katie walked down the aisle, everyone was stunned silent by how radiant and beautiful she looked. And you could feel all eyes moved to Bill to see his reaction, which was nothing but the biggest smile ever! They smiled at each other all through their ceremony, exchanged their vows and just like that – were husband and wife!! Everyone then made their way back to the Estate for their cocktail hour and reception. Guests were greeted by the CUTEST signature drinks – since this was the real royal wedding 😉 (Bill’s real name is actually William so we were at the wedding of William and Kate!) And then brought into their STUNNING reception space. Seriously, my jaw DROPPED when I saw the reception. Everything was beautiful – their centerpieces, the simple greenery at each place setting, THE CAKE. And their band was INSANE! I’ve worked several times with Brian Kirk & the Jirks but this time was by far the BEST I’ve ever seen them!! Not only that but halfway through the reception, they were kind enough to let some of the Bridal Party and family members step in and give them a break and play a little tune! The father of the Bride and Bill’s best man were in the band and that was SO fun to see! They killed it, by the way 😉 Nothing was short of amazing for these two. As we took them out for their sunset photos, I couldn’t but overhear them say to each other “seriously, NOTHING went wrong. It was all perfect” and it was! They’re so deserving of a beautiful, memorable wedding day and that’s just what they got. And as they enjoy their dreamy honeymoon in Europe, I’m sharing my favorite images from their wedding day!
