Ashley & Frank planned the most beautiful, colorful wedding day by the sea! Purples and teals were everywhere, along with seaglass and seashells! There was only one problem… the weather was not in our favor. It’s never ideal but when I already look back on this wedding day in my mind, the weather is not the first thing I remember. I remember their smiles when they saw each other for the first time during their first look. I remember their sweet first dance to “Somewhere over the rainbow”. I remember the way they laughed so hard as they cut their cake together. THOSE are the moments you walk away with on a wedding day. The great thing about Ashley & Frank is they planned to do the first look and it was our saving grace! I didn’t time it but it felt like we had maybe 15 minutes before it started to rain on us and it was windy but we did it! We got some AMAZING photos of them outside, on the dock, smiling and with NO rain drops on them! 🙂 We shot the rest of their portraits inside, which was luckily lined with big windows so we got plenty of great photos! Their ceremony was so beautiful with the personal vows and their wonderful officiant doing a great job and letting everyone know all the details of how they met, fell in love and how they feel about each other. They had an EPIC confetti entrance into their reception and the coolest send off ever – with glowsticks!! I had never seen that before but LOVED it. They didn’t stop dancing all night and neither did their guests. Everyone had the best time celebrating these two and I am just so happy to be sharing my favorite images from their wedding day today! Ashley & Frank, hope you have an amazing time on your honeymoon and a wonderful life together! 🙂
