Tara & Joe’s wedding day threatened thunderstorms all week long… they both anxiously checked the weather forecast every day leading up to their wedding PRAYING it would turn around. Of course, by some miracle, it did 🙂 These two were destined to have a beautiful wedding day and that is just what they had! Bagpipes erupted as they were pronounced husband and wife and walked out of their church with bubbles blowing all around them. The sun was beaming down on them on the boardwalk of Spring Lake as they hopped off their trolley for a few pictures of just the two of them and as we stood outside Molly Pitcher Inn, overlooking the Navesink River, with their shimmering Bridal Party – literally, the girls shimmered in the prettiest sequin rose gold dresses! And as the sun set, the party got started! Everyone was sipping on the signature drinks & tears were flowing as they shared their first dance, parent dances and then they each dance with their grandparents! Oh my gosh, that was the sweetest thing ever 🙂 We snuck them out for some sunset portraits – which I’m so glad we did because it was SO hot earlier in the day and it’s always so nice to step out of the party for a few moments with the Bride & Groom and give them some time to cuddle and kiss before the reception flies past them. It was such a beautiful day, with so many fantastic photo opportunities.. I’m very excited to share my favorite images with you all today! And Tara & Joe, congratulations on such a fun and wonderful wedding day!! We had the best time with you and I wish you nothing but the BEST together! 🙂
