I’m so glad Carissa & Steven chose Coney Island as their backdrop for their engagement session because it has been YEARS since I have visited! It was a PERFECT day weather wise and luckily, there weren’t too many people there so at times it felt like we were the only ones there. They matched the scenery perfectly with their retro inspired outfits. What I love most about this session is just how colorful it is! The games, the ocean, the boardwalk… so much color everywhere and we couldn’t get enough of it. I cannot wait to photograph them again next year … except, it will be their wedding day!!

I can not help but laugh the entire time I edited Carissa & Steven’s engagement photos. It’s not because THEY are funny or anything but because there is so much laughter and JOY in their photos, it makes me smile so much! Seriously – we had the BEST time capturing their engagement photos. Carissa & Steven are so young at heart and this session perfectly captures that! They LOVE to joke around, act like kids and they LOVE Disney – so basically, they are my long lost twins lol. We immediately bonded over our love of Disney Parks and how they are having a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding! I can not WAIT for next May to get here, it’s going to be SO fun and my Disney side is going to lose it’s mind!! 🙂 You will notice there are sprinkles of Disney throughout their engagement photos though because of course they had to have all the Disney things!!

This engagement session is SO fun, it’s going to make you feel like a kid and want to run to the nearest amusement park, grab a corn dog and ride some rides 🙂 I hope you LOVE my favorite images from Carissa & Steven’s engagement session at Coney Island!! 🙂
