My heart melts for couples like Alexa & Chris! They love to laugh together, are SO comfortable together in front of the camera, absolutely love their dog to pieces and are so trustworthy of me as their photographer! They came from New York to New Jersey to Ramapo Valley Reservation for their engagement session. They had no idea where they wanted their photos! All they knew is they wanted outdoor photos, they wanted them to be taken soon for their save the dates and they HAD to have their sweet dog, Brody, in the photos! He is their baby! I knew Ramapo Valley Reservation would be the PERFECT location for their engagement session and sure enough, they LOVED the spot and we ended up having a fun time capturing their engagement photos!

We got SO lucky with the amazing weather we had during their engagement session! You typically don’t expect 60 degree weather for a March engagement session but these two got so lucky! It was warm, sunny and beautiful out 🙂 Also, I kind of LOVE the bareness of the trees against the POPS of color they are wearing! We walked around Ramapo Valley Reservation, talking about all things dogs and it got me so excited for their wedding day this October – I know it’s going to be beautiful!
