What a way to kick off our 2017 wedding season!! Not only was Kristen & Tom’s wedding day filled with absolute PERFECT weather (A February wedding in the 60s is unheard of in New Jersey!) but with so much joy and emotion. It was so fun watching them both tear up at the sight of each other during their First Look and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Kristen got choked up saying her wedding vows to Tom. Their reactions as they saw each other again when she walked down the aisle towards him was the best – those one-of-a-kind smiles!! SO priceless 🙂 And watching all of their guests completely be present during their unplugged ceremony was so special for us to see. That’s something that we absolutely LOVE to see because, in this age of social media, it’s RARE. But when they laughed, every guest laughed with them and when they cried, so did their guests. It’s the BEST! 🙂

Rock Island Lake Club was the backdrop for their wedding day and we just LOVE working there! It’s just as gorgeous there during the winter as it is any other month of the year. You guys, winter weddings is where it’s at!! The GLOW that is around Kristen, Tom & their Bridal Party during their portraits is UNREAL and it’s all credited to the white snow around them and that winter sunset! We had a blast capturing their portraits because it was so warm so no one minded being outside for one second and it made it even more enjoyable for them! 🙂 I LOVED the details of their day that they put so much thought into – from the homemade apple pie favors to the GORGEOUS wine colored Bridesmaid dresses and the stunning florals everywhere!

Kristen & Tom, we love you both!! We loved being with you for every second of your celebration this weekend. This is just the beginning!  Enjoy the beginning of this new adventure together 🙂
