One of my business goals this year is to BLOG MORE! I was always really good at blogging other things besides whatever weddings or engagement sessions I was editing and then 2016 came and ruined all my hard work! I had SO many things I wanted to blog and share but just couldn’t put aside the time to do it. This year – I’m getting it done!

Now if you are a LONG time reader of the blog, you may remember these little weekly intermission blog posts I did! I enjoyed taking a moment out of the week to talk about my life and just what’s been going on with it and it was fun to see that a lot of people enjoyed reading these 🙂 So, I’m bringing it back! Hopefully… someone please keep me accountable for this lol.

.| WATCHING… |. My newest obsession is Bob’s Burgers! I just happened to watch one tiny clip of it on YouTube a few days before Christmas and I found it hilarious. I thought “hmm… if I find this funny, maybe I’ll like the show” so I then picked a random episode on Netflix and gave it a whirl. Now – I can’t stop watching! lol I absolutely LOVE this show and just can’t decide who my favorite Belcher is, they’re all amazing! And luckily Jose enjoyed it when I made him watch it with me and now we both love it and already find ourselves referencing it lol if you haven’t you MUST watch it! I love it because it’s not a crude animated show like Family Guy. Ugh. Hate Family guy!

.| WORKING ON… |. Like I said, I’m hoping to blog more this year and am currently working on a plan to make sure that I actually stick with this goal. I have lots of topics to share for the bride and even for photographers, as well as some personal updates about our house we purchased last April! .| LOVING… |. I’ve been designing wedding albums for my clients like CRAZY! I think in the past month 5 of my couples have completed their albums and that’s so exciting! These are their first family heirlooms they are making together… the albums their children will put out one day and look through, wanting to hear all about their parents wedding day! That ALWAYS runs through my mind as I design each album and I’m so glad so many of my couples are making the decision to have these albums to cherish for years to come, long after their wedding day has passed 🙂

.| LISTENING TO… |. If you know me, you know I love all things Disney and I have found my latest Disney obsession. An album called “JAZZ LOVES DISNEY“. Its the PERFECT fusion. It’s funny how when you listen to it, you realize just how many jazz songs are already in Disney movies, like the songs from the Aristocats & The Jungle Book! And then there are songs that sound amazing with a jazz twist to them, like “You’ve got a friend in me” and my personal favorite from the album -“A dream is a wish your heart makes”. It’s my favorite album to listen to while I work so go check it out for some great background music while you work or cook or clean! (after Hamilton of course!)

.| LOOKING FORWARD TO… |. This week is a HUGE week for us! If you’ve been following my Instagram stories (you can me at tinaelizabethphotography. I know, it’s so difficult to remember!) you know we are smack in the middle of a surprise Kitchen remodel! It’s a surprise to everyone – especially us. We thought we’d wait 2 years before we tackled our Kitchen but when the opportunity presented itself, we decided to just jump in and do it! Right now we are in the middle of getting new cabinets, a new counter top, new appliances and a brand new painting job to our old kitchen. (This is the first time we’ve ever hired painters and I’m SO excited to NOT be painting this kitchen myself for once! lol) So right now I am REALLY looking forward to the last day of all this craziness on Friday when it’s all done and we have an almost brand new kitchen! All that will be left is new lighting and a back splash, which is what we decided to do ourselves 🙂 I can’t WAIT until it’s all done and put together – it’s going to look SO different with just the paint job though!
