I’ve been to Liberty State Park a couple times for wedding days but this was my first time there for an engagement session and wow, it is worlds different! Ten times less crowded during the week and on this day, an especially cold and chilly day by the Hudson River, it was even quieter than normal! Larry and Ping lucked out with that because less people around made it SO easy for them to feel comfortable taking photos without any people staring at them 🙂 These two are such a good looking couple and are fabulous in front of the camera! It really felt effortless capturing their engagement photos for them 🙂
They just bought a house in the suburbs but when I first met Ping and Larry earlier this year, they were living in Jersey City and so it felt right to come right back to where it all started for them for their engagement photos! It was a chilly but BEAUTIFUL night at Liberty State Park when we met up, right as the sun was about to set and the glow in their photos is unreal! Plus their adorable dog, Tsunami, steals the show. What a HAM he is! I’ve never had a dog look SO perfectly at my camera and he was just LOVING be out by the water 🙂 He’s such a cutie!!
Larry and Ping are go-getters and world travelers. I feel like every time I talk with them, they’re coming home or heading to somewhere new in the world and I just love that about them! Ping just left her job to start a full-time career in baking and creating cakes and you guys – they are GORGEOUS!! I am SO excited to see what she creates for their wedding day and speaking of, you’ll be seeing these two on the blog again very soon because they are having what is sure to be a stunning New Years Eve wedding day!! We’ve never shot a New Years Eve wedding and I just KNOW these two will spoil us into never shooting another one as gorgeous as theirs will be 🙂 I just know it! If their wedding day is going to be anything like their engagement session – it is one you do not want to miss! 😉 For now – enjoy my favorite images from their beautiful engagement session at Liberty State park!
