Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. This is not a photo from a magazine spread… this is a real, gorgeous couple that are not only incredibly photogenic but gorgeous together! Molly & Steve have been together for eight years and currently planning their wedding day next year. I was so excited for them when I read their initial email to me… they’ve been together for 8 years and are planning a gorgeous and FUN wedding day! And waiting another year to be married was perfect because they could take their time planning their wedding day and actually ENJOY their engagement 🙂 The more I talked to them at their meeting, the MORE excited I got for their wedding day! Now after photographing their engagement session – oh man am I excited for their wedding day!!

Molly & Steve got engaged last summer at Ortley Beach. It was a COMPLETE surprise to Molly and all of his and her families were there for the proposal which made it even more special! While everyone was hanging out on the beach and taking turns going out on the water in Steve’s dad’s amphibian car (YES! A car that goes IN the water!)  – Molly was told to look out at the car. When she did family was holding up a sign that read “MOLLY, WILL YOU MARRY ME?” and when she turned around, there was Steve on his knee!! Of COURSE she said yes! 🙂 So naturally they picked the beach for their engagement session! What we didn’t plan for was a cold, windy day but honestly – could you tell it was FREEZING?? Nope! They are SO sweet and adorable together and KILLED it, despite being cold!

The best part about a cold, windy beach engagement session is practically NO ONE else was there. It was so easy for them to get comfortable without tons of people watching them! And Molly and I both just kept thinking of so many different poses to do and it was so much fun! This session is just too beautiful for words! You just look at these two and can see how much they love each other, how happy they make each other AND how much fun they have together.
