I was so excited for Valentina & Kevin’s engagement session because there was one thing that they absolutely wanted from it and that was to get photos with their adorable boxer fur-babies, Diesel & Bebo! When you don’t have kids, your dogs are your kids and since they were taking professional photos for their engagement session, why not bring the fur babies along for the photos? Diesel and Bebo are such cuties!! I’ve always loved Boxers – Valentina warned me they might be a handful and not cooperative but that’s the beauty of dogs lol they never are! Scrolling through their photos, I’m actually SO happy I grabbed so many photos of these two with them actually looking at my camera at times! It was not easy with Allaire State Park being SO packed that day (and easily distracting for these dogs!) but it was definitely worth it!

Valentina and Kevin got engaged this past summer when Kevin proposed to her while in Italy! Valentina is actually from Firenze, Italy so it was just the PERFECT location for him to propose! He got down on one knee and proposed with gorgeous Firenze behind them – what a backdrop! They got right to wedding planning and almost immediately found the perfect venue for their summer wedding next year. So if they were getting married in the summer, why not do fall engagement photos?? These two went all out for the fall photos! They brought along the plaid, blankets and the cutest save the date pumpkins ever – THIS is a fall engagement session! Allaire State Park was the perfect backdrop for their photos too – the foliage had turned, leaves had fallen on the ground already and the lovely little houses and barns everywhere just amp-ed that fall theme up even more! Valentina & Kevin had the perfect day and I just LOVE their photos. Just look at the way they look at each other, the smiles that instantly formed on their faces were so genuine and sweet. I can’t wait for their summer wedding day next year!!
