Nicole’s father had the perfect description for this wedding – it was the Royal wedding! He was SO right! Nicole & Phil are both the only children in their family (that is SO rare that both the Bride & Groom are only children!) and so naturally, they were the prince and princess 🙂 Spoiled (in the best ways! trust me – they’re the two humblest people you’ll ever meet!) and adored by everyone that knows and loves them – this was a HUGE celebration for all involved! Everyone was on cloud 9, in the BEST moods, the entire day long and it never disappeared. The love that these two share is indescribable – they both teared up at the sight of each other as she walked down the aisle towards him. All afternoon long Phil kept saying “you look amazing!” to Nicole and they were stealing kisses all day long 🙂 I LOVE watching them together because when they are together, nothing else exists. It’s a love every one dreams of finding and they did 🙂
In all of our years shooting weddings, I’ve never met not only a Bride & Groom that were up for taking endless amounts of photos – but a Bridal Party too! Nicole & Phil’s bridal party was the BEST!! They NEVER stopped dancing, never stopped smiling for our cameras, were up for EVERY photo we wanted to take and were so happy for these two. I can’t explain it… I’ve never seen an entire Bridal Party so excited for a bride and groom as I did for Nicole & Phil. Nicole shared her first look with her bridesmaids (which was so special because besides her maid of honor, NONE of them have even seen her dress!) and it was so great watching their reactions – and after it was done, they all just stood there admiring Nicole. Usually a bridesmaid or two will run off to do something but they all just came closer to her. As Phil’s dad helped him get dressed, the groomsmen stood right by him and watched – clapping when he was officially dressed! lol They sound silly but these little moments just don’t happen at every wedding! Even while we took each of the separate Bridal Party’s photos, the other stayed and watched! And like I said- they NEVER stopped dancing! None of their guests did! I don’t think I’ve ever included as many reception photos in a blog post as I have with this one!
Since they are the only children – the thing I found the most special were the bonds they shared with their parents on their wedding day 🙂 It was wonderful going with just Nicole & her mom to her parents house so she could have a first look with her dad. And it was special taking photos of her in her childhood bedroom with them 🙂 I mean… I couldn’t keep my eyes dry during their parent dances!! Besides the DJ playing a slideshow of them each with their parents during the parent dances… watching Phil break into tears as he danced with his mom was just the sweetest thing in the world! And the core of it all is the love Nicole & Phil share for each other. TRUE love. We couldn’t be happier for these two and can’t believe how lucky we are to capture the most important day of such wonderful, sweet couples like these two. Guys, just prepare yourselves… there are a LOT of photos in this post!! It’s so hard to pick just a few favorites to share! 😉
Nicole & Phil – we hope you are having the BEST TIME on your honeymoon and we hope you LOVE your photos as much as we do! Thank you for letting us celebrate the magic with you both! 🙂
