After you’re officially pronounced husband and wife (YAY!) – the celebration can officially begin! All of your family, bridal party and guests are so happy for you and they are all so excited to celebrate your union. One way to officially do this is by celebrating the minute your ceremony is over. Whether it’s an indoor or outdoor ceremony, at a church or out by a lake… if there’s one thing just as fun as making your entrance, it’s making your EXIT!
There are many ways Brides & Grooms can pull off the wedding day exit and it’s something I highly recommend! Whether you chose to do a receiving line or not, this is still a great option! It doesn’t take too long to do and it’s a fun way for everyone to celebrate you right away, because that is why they are there. Your guests love and support you both so they won’t mind sticking around to give you a proper exit from your ceremony 🙂 Here are different types of exits you can incorporate into your wedding day:
- Bubble exit
- Ribbon wands
- Bells
- Flower petals
- Confetti (so colorful and fun!)
- Leaves (for a fall wedding!)
- Sparklers (of course, this can be done as an end of the night exit too!)
BONUS TIP – Fun wedding day exits act as another opportunity for MORE photos of the two of you, which is extra handy when you have a tight timeline for portraits! 😉
