I have taken photos of our dogs next to our Christmas Tree for as long as they’ve been a part of our family. Our first dog was Riddle, our little Boston Terrier, and I’ll never forget the year I got a photo of BOTH him and our cat, Hitchcock together in front of our tree 🙂 That’s the ONLY time that ever happened. Since then, Riddle and Lando have sucked it up and did what their mama asked them – even when I put them in their Christmas PJs 🙂 When we have children, I’m sure the tradition will change a bit but for now, these are my babies and I want to remember them. Our dogs are both 6 now and they are now growing little white beards on their mouths. It makes me sad to see them get older and I know I will forever cherish these photos of them, our first two dogs 🙂 While I grabbed photos of them (and the cat!), I grabbed some other photos around our apartment. Hopefully by this time next year, we will have our own house with new traditions to start and a new space for our decorations. For now, I’m thankful for what we have and our lovely little tree 🙂 On this Christmas day, I’m sharing a peek into our home and some Christmas memories we created this year!
Riddle has always been photogenic while Lando (right) HATES the camera and typically refuses to look at it. The photos of him looking at my camera are a true Christmas miracle!
Hitchie has always been photogenic too 🙂 In the photo below, his eyes are closed because the flash was a little too strong for his little eyes! lol
We got this Nativity this year and I LOVE it! Since Jose and I have lived together (that was in 2008!) I have been on the hunt for the PERFECT Nativity set and I finally found one I loved this year! (It was from Michaels, of all places, for only $20!)
I took these photos a week before Christmas, before my stocking was stuffed 😉
I LOVE our Cheers sign we got this year and think it’s a fixture I might keep up all year long!
This year, we decided to go see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and let me tell you… there is NOTHING like Christmas time in the city! We had so much fun seeing the windows at Saks, seeing the tree at Rockefeller Center and of course the Rockettes! I didn’t bring my DSLR but did go snap happy on my phone and wanted to share those photos here as well 🙂 I do apologize, they are phone photos but I still love them!
It is as gorgeous INSIDE Radio City Music Hall as it is on the outside!
This is on the facade of Saks Fifth Avenue… it was a light show and it was awesome!
Inside Saks Fifth Avenue looks like a winter wonderland. SO beautiful!
And the tree! We had so much fun in the city 🙂
Jose and I wish you all a very, Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!! Thank you to everyone that made our 2015 such a memorable one and we can’t wait to see what 2016 brings for us all! See you in 2016!! 🙂
