Just this past December, Ed asked Diana if she would marry him right in Central Park. Of course she said yes! It was the day before New Years Eve so they had a LOT to celebrate coming into 2015 and next year, will become husband and wife. When Diana told me she and Ed knew they wanted their engagement photos in Central Park, my heart instantly started to beat faster. I have been DYING to shoot an Engagement Session in Central Park ever since I started in Photography 🙂 Why? Well, Jose and I had our own engagement photos in Central Park so I have a special place in my heart for this location. Not only that but I just love New York City and anything and everything having to do with it so this was just a dream come true 🙂
Even though we were shooting their session in this massive park in the middle of Manhattan, Diana & Ed made sure to make it as personalized as possible to capture exactly who they are as a couple. The location was perfect, we were shooting right where they got engaged! But then they brought along the cutest prop with the most adorable back story… a big, beautiful white Ampersand! Why an Ampersand? Um, well they are “TeamE&D!” I absolutely LOVE that. They are a TEAM together. That is just my absolute favorite thing in the world. Not even husband and wife yet and already, a force to be reckoned with. I have no doubt in my mind their wedding day next June is going to be b-e-a-utiful! I am SO excited to share my favorite images from their beautiful engagement session in Central Park on the blog today!!
Diana and Ed – hope you’re enjoying your summer vacation away and can enjoy these photos on the beach 🙂 Hope you LOVE your photos!!
I just feel like ALL photos in New York City instantly look better in black and white 🙂
I RARELY ask my couples to dance in public but they NAILED it 🙂
This was Ed’s idea and I totally loved it!
BEAUTIFUL!
