When your boyfriend becomes your fiance and asks you to marry him with a personalized wine bottle… it’s pretty much a given what the theme should be for your engagement session! Frank surprised Jacqueline with a romantic and private dinner for two. When they ordered a bottle of wine, the waitress brought out the special bottle of wine Frank had… with his proposal on the label! SO sweet! Of course Jacqueline said YES and here we are, just 6 months away from their wedding day! When Jacqueline mentioned a few locations they had in mind for their engagement session and the Laurita Winery was one of them, I had to push for it. I typically leave the location for the engagement session entirely up to my couples but this one seemed like a no-brainier. The winery was just PERFECT for them!

We were prepared to run into nothing but crowds at the winery the day of their engagement session. It was a GORGEOUS Saturday, the sun was out without a cloud in sight… why wouldn’t it be crowded? But when Jose and I arrived at the Laurita Winery, we were shocked to find the exact opposite! We kept saying to ourselves “is this how easy it’s supposed to be??” We just walked right in, started wine tasting and order cheese plates and easily found the perfect spots for their session. NO ONE was around, no one bothered us at any point.. it was like we had the entire winery to ourselves! That is SO rare and I was just so happy that happened because it made it that much more enjoyable for Jacqueline and Frank 🙂 And clearly, by these gorgeous photos, we had a great time. Non-stop laughing between the four of us, sipping wine (them, not us!) and time just flew by! It was so easy to capture Jacqueline & Frank’s genuine love for each other because it easily radiated off of them! After a while of editing these photos, I almost felt like I was looking into private moments of theirs and I wasn’t even there… it’s weird to explain but at times, these photos really like it’s just the two of them in the middle of this beautiful setting and that’s how it SHOULD be 🙂 This session just made me SO excited for their upcoming November wedding this year and I can’t wait to wrap up my season with these two!
