WHOO! Jose and I are officially on vacation and heading for one week to sunny California! I’m really excited for this vacation because Jose has NEVER been to the West Coast! I visited California twice and am so anxious to see what Jose thinks of it – especially because I’m convinced he will absolutely fall in love with it. This vacation is coming right at the beginning of my busy season and I kind of love that. It’ll give me the perfect break before summer weddings come and take over my life. Also, I’d love to attend my summer weddings with a nice little tan 😉 Jose and I value vacations and make sure to take them every year, whether it’s a big or small one. This is actually our first year NOT visiting Florida & Disney World and we both are really missing it but are so excited to do something different. This trip to California feels SO foreign, it almost feels like we’ve traveling to Europe lol. We’re so weird!

We have SO MUCH on our to-do list – of course we have to do the typical Los Angeles things for Jose and visit Hollywood & do a Studio Tour (we chose to check out Warner Bros Studio Tour solely for their Batman exhibit, ownership of Harry Potter films and being able to sit on the Friends couch!) On Jose’s California bucket-list is also to check out PINKS Hot dogs and the San Diego Zoo. My to-do? Um… DISNEYLAND! I also want to check out Santa Monica. I went to California twice and never saw that part of L.A. so I’m excited about that. We are going to be driving all over Los Angeles and I’m so excited to check it all out, soak up the sun and take TONS of photos. I’m bringing like 6 memory cards with me because I plan to take photos of EVERYTHING!

I am also super excited to be packing all day today! I absolutely LOVE packing for trips and find half the excitement in the anticipation. I am packing all the things in the above photo. The items are laying on my Turkish Towel which has officially become my beach towel – it’s HUGE and I love it. The item with the Boston Terriers all over it? A pouch for me to hold necessities in my carry-on – OF COURSE I had to grab it because it had Boston Terriers on it! Sunglasses are a MUST for me (I’m actually bringing three different pairs lol) and the little Popsicle? It’s my Kate Spade “coin purse” that actually holds our cash perfectly! Ooh and my beloved Alex & Ani Disney bracelets! I just grabbed the Disneyland one for this trip and i’m hoping to buy another one while I’m there in the parks 🙂

GUYS! I am so excited for this trip! Of course this means I will have limited email access for the next week but I’ve also got some blog posts lined up for you to enjoy while I’m away 🙂 Once we’re back, I can’t wait to share photos from our trip!
