You know what’s a LOT of fun? Giving gifts to people when they least expect it. I love to spoil my clients as much as I can (and lucky for you 2015 brides, I want to bring my spoiling up a notch this year!) and knew that gifting gifts right around the Holidays would be the perfect lovely surprise. It’s more than anything just a nice big thank you for the wonderful year we had together. You got married, I got to be there capturing the photos you will cherish for the rest of your lives together and that is something special, especially for me 🙂 My couples just mean the world to me and gifting them one last gift for the year was the perfect way to let them know that. While all my couples received my Holiday card, my 2014 couples were gifted with a gift to enjoy together. It was so fun getting texts, emails and even pics of their gifts arriving at their homes! I LOVED it and wanted to share their gifts here. Now it’s time to start planning out this years gifts… hmm….
I always like to gift very practical things. Things I know they could use time and time again but it’s also something that I want them to look at and remember “oh yes! This was a gift we got the year we were married”. Now, not all my couples celebrate Christmas like I do so I did not want to gift ornaments for them to put up on a tree some don’t even have! I loved the gifts this year and honestly, I wish I thought to buy Jose and myself our own to enjoy too! lol But that’s okay 😉
Let’s take a look at the lovely little box that made it’s our way to our clients this year 🙂
On top for our clients that do celebrate the Holidays I included my Holiday card. I designed and printed it through Minted and the picture is courtesy of the amazing Abby Grace Photography 🙂 It was actually a photo from our anniversary session but who knew it would end up working PERFECTLY for my holiday card?? Love it!
Under the card are my clients’ gifts… a tea towel for them to hang in their kitchen that says FOREVER & EVER, a bottle stopper with their last names on them (though one couple was lucky they didn’t have their last name letter and ended up getting TWO with their first names! lol told ya, spoiled!) and some chocolate covered pretzels (um… YUM!) to enjoy right away together! I can’t even explain how great those tea towels felt… so soft and nice. My mom helped me wrap all the gifts up and was super jealous she wasn’t getting one of those 😉
I should point out my mom that this is my moms handwriting on the pretzels… ENJOY! We actually have the exact same handwriting lol I loved my moms handwriting so much when I was little I think I taught myself to write exactly like her. Too funny! I loved that each bottle stopper was a different color too, that made it a lot of fun to package up 🙂
It was so much fun planning these gifts and I’m not going to lie, I am already brainstorming for this years’ gifts! 🙂 Can’t wait!!
