It is officially September and fall is upon us! I just LOVE this time of year and can’t complain too much about it being here so quickly but WOW, August seriously flew by. And just like that it’s the end of summer though right now it sure doesn’t feel like it’s the end of summer! It has been SO HOT here in Jersey these past few days and even if it is September, I just can’t burn my fall candles just yet. I am SO excited for September this year!! That’s a statement rarely ever say because everyone and their mother’s birthday is in September (literally!!) and it is always so overwhelming but this year it’s going to be fun! We decided to take our annual Disney Vacation smack dab in the middle of September and it’s the smartest decision we have ever made! Our crazy busy summer wedding/engagement season is finally coming to an end and we need this vacation BAD! And how SMART how are we to vacation to Disney right when kids are going back to school? It’s going to be so awesome! lol and Disney World starts their Halloween Celebrations early so by the time we come back, we’ll be ready to welcome fall 😉 September is extra special because it’s my husbands birthday! I love spoiling him and making him the center of attention (sshh… i might have already told our hotel at Disney World that he is celebrating his birthday so they could give him a special treat). His birthday is NEXT WEEK! 🙂 Can’t wait to go out to dinner, celebrate with him and then GET TO FLORIDA!! Not only is his birthday in September but the rest of his family too! His mom, his brother, our sister-in-law… non stop celebrating over here! And our sweet boy Lando (our dog!) is turning FIVE this month too! Why do they get so big so fast??!

August was so wonderful and really BUSY! I shot 4 weddings, 3 engagement shoots and then I got SICK and it just ruined my entire workflow. I was so tired and achy and crabby I did NOT want to sit at my computer for 6 hours and work, all I wanted to do was rest. Can you believe a bit of my cold is still lingering?? Bleh, it just will not go away. We were so busy though that the month really flew by! I can’t wait to share my last engagement session… it’s definitely one of my new favorites 🙂 But that seems to happen with every engagement shoot my amazing couples plan, they just keep getting better and better! August was a lot of planning for the weddings and shoots, prepping our house for fall (I did some SERIOUS cleaning and purging last week!) and enjoying the last of summer in between.

Now I’m off to continue catching up with my work and making sure this blog is ready to go before we leave for vacation which is in, oh 10 DAYS!!! 🙂 Wheee!
