Wow… I actually am three days into June before I realized May was over and I had to post all the Instagrams from that month. Where is the time going!? Ok.. I swear I won’t start every one of these posts off like that. It’s just the lightning speed of 2014 is really freaking me out! Needless to say, 2014 is proving to be a pretty amazing year and May was a great month.

I crowded my Instagram this month with countless photos of peonies and for that I must apologize. May was the last month of me working my retail job and I got to tell you, I may be three days into this full-time photography gig but I already feel SO much more productive, a LOT less stressed and overall happier. I do find myself really missing my coworkers but do NOT miss driving an hour to and back from work. Ugh, I will not miss that. And my dogs and cat can’t be happier! I can just see it in their faces lol

May was so so so wonderful. Three weddings shot, celebrated my mom’s birthday, celebrated our dog Riddle’s 5th birthday ::tear:: and memorial day and lots of really great date nights & days out with Jose. We finally went to Buffalo Wild Wings! How have we never done this before? We are pretty obsessed with their delicious [and CHEAP!] food and beer. We also went to a  delicious brunch in the city with our friends and followed it by walking all over the west and east Village in NYC. Any days spent in Manhattan are easily my favorite because I just love that city so much.

 

I am so ready for June… June is a month I’ve been looking forward to for a long time and don’t want it to come in a hurry! The official beginning of summer, Lots and LOTS of engagement shoots, second shooting a wedding in CAPE MAY [is this real life!? One of my dream locations!] and… AND… AND… A coaching session with the amazing Katelyn James aka the reason I became a photographer. Pretty sure I’m going to burst into tears when I meet her. Can’t wait to share everything about that when it comes!! 🙂 So June, relax. Take your time and don’t rush away!
