February was ROUGH. We had massive snow fall twice every week of the month and were literally snowed in 10 days total! It was insane and one of the roughest winters ever. However I found myself being very grateful for a lot during each snow storm and throughout the whole month of February. I’m grateful we live in an apartment complex where we don’t have to shovel our sidewalks. Grateful for hot chocolate and my collection of blankets that actually turned out to be handy. Grateful we never once lost power. Grateful I have such an amazing husband who for the first time EVER surprised me with flowers on Valentines Day [this was our 9th valentines day together! what!?] Grateful Valentines Day was on a friday this year and instead of going out [in snow of course] and waiting 3 hours for a table, we stayed home and made breakfast for dinner and actually focused on each other. It was a rough month but it was a great month too. So thank you February – for giving me cabin fever and making me regret NOT moving to Florida when we had the chance and so much snow on the ground I literally have forgotten what grass looks like. Thanks! Not going to lie – I’m so happy to see you go.
February DID bring me lots of great memories too! Lots of great client meetings [and new brides! WHOO!] Lots of pink and red all over our apartment, beautiful tulips from my husband and my first engagement session of the year! 🙂
