On Sunday October 7th, 2012, Sara and Chris exchanged vows in front of all of their family and friends in her parents backyard making their wedding feel so much more cozy and full of love. With gorgeous sunflower bouquets and a handful of do-it-yourself details done by Sara herself, this fall wedding was a photographers dream. As they danced the night away with a six piece band playing, I couldn’t help but smile while capturing their emotion through my camera.  They looked so happy and in love, never leaving each other’s side.

I was only able to make it to the Ceremony and Reception to help Amy Rizzuto Photography but was so glad to have been able to make it at all! It was a beautiful and fun night and thank you so much Amy for letting me help you out and be apart of Sara & Chris’ wedding.

the first DIY detail I noticed – these adorable paper hearts lining the aisle of the ceremony

the bridal party in a big group hug after the ceremony – too cute!

the tent for the reception was gorgeous! covered in a sea of white and yellow with beautiful and subtle DIY details all over!

loved these letters hanging off their chairs!

the table numbers were lyrics from some of Chris & Sara’s favorite songs!

They even had signature drinks! You know we love those! 🙂

I was in charge of the Photo Booth at the wedding – and LOVED all the props and details there!

Soon after the first dance – it was time for the Horah! This was my first time even attending a Jewish Wedding and I LOVED it!! They know how to party! 🙂

I love Sara’s face [above] – she looks like she’s having so much fun but looks secretly terrified too!

ALL of the guests surrounded Sara, Chris & their families as they danced… love this tradition! After that, more dancing ensued!

Soon after – it was time for dinner… and toasts! Maybe my favorite part of Receptions 🙂 nothing like hearing all the love being wished onto the couples!

After dinner, no one wasted time jumping back onto the dance floor!

loved catching them have a little moment 🙂

Dances with the father and mother always get me choked up… especially when Chris danced with his mom. She was so sweetly emotional!

And then time for some cake!

Thank you Amy & Mekina for letting me help you girls photograph such a fun wedding!
