This is my LAST session of 2021 and what a way to end my year!! I just LOVE these two – I loved them since the minute I first chatted with them but we all go WAY back! When they initially reached out, Dan reminded me he was the brother of one of my past Bride’s from over 5 years ago! I remembered him immediately! But when I met with him and Alexa, I kept listening to Alexa talk and staring at her thinking… “WHY does this girl look and sound so familiar?” And then when I mentioned it to her at their engagement session, she reminded me! We used to work together WAY back in the day in retail! Oh my gosh – it all came rushing back to me and I suddenly didn’t feel so crazy!! lol But what really bugged me out after their engagement session is realizing a past coworker of mine is now marrying the brother of one of my past Brides! How nuts is that!?
From the minute they emailed me, I knew I would love them! They both LOVE Disney (there’s actually a hidden mickey in their photos – can you spot it???). They love Disney so much that Alexa surprised Dan with a trip to Disney world and then during their trip, HE surprised HER with a proposal!! AND her parents secretly flew down to celebrate with them!! I mean, as far as I’m concerned that’s as magical a proposal as they come!! NOTHING is more magical then getting engaged at Disney World! But seeing them together, they are truly meant to be. The way they looked at each other, the way they held hands and never let go! The way they fixed any hairs out of place on the other… those little moments, when you don’t even think about it, you just CARE for the person you love… that shows how true it is 🙂 I am SO excited to be sharing their engagement session today and can’t wait to see these two get married in 2023!!
