Molly Pitcher Inn Wedding Photos

Once upon a time ago, 4 years to be exact, a girl said YES to an epic proposal while in Hawaii! I’m SURE she didn’t imagine she would have to wait 4 years to finally marry the man of her dreams but that’s the way this love story went. The good news? They finally had the wedding day of their dreams – sprinkled with some good luck rain 😉

We woke up to a cold and rainy wedding day – and yet, I left the house feeling really hopeful that it would turn around! I don’t know why but something deep down inside me wasn’t really panicking about the rain because I TRULY thought it would die down. And even as it POURED as Liz slipped into her wedding dress, I still wasn’t worried. Even as it POURED as we all made our way to the church, I wasn’t worried. And sure enough, as the church bells rang and the church doors opened – we discovered the sun was coming out and it had stopped!! As she got her hair and makeup done, I heard Liz say to one of her bridesmaids that her dad assured her “your mom would not let it rain on your wedding day!” and he was right – her angel was looking down on her and made sure she had the best day ever, and even gave her some good luck rain!

Despite the rain, these two were GIDDY all day long. They spent the entire time truly ENJOYING themselves, laughing with their amazing Bridal Party and having the BEST attitude about it all! They were so excited to finally be getting married we celebrated every way possible – we popped champagne, threw confetti not once but twice – this was a celebration after all! 😉 Liz got dressed with help from her future mother-in-law and without even putting a piece of jewelry on, she looked flawless! I couldn’t wait to see Mike’s reaction to seeing her. His smile got SO big when she walked into the church and he finally got to see his wife walking towards him. They ceremony felt like it FLEW by and suddenly we were on our way to Monmouth University for portraits. Corona’s in hand, we took bridal party portraits and it STOPPED raining!! When we went out for sunset portraits at the end of the night, I couldn’t believe the gorgeous purple and pink sky surrounding us. How did they get so lucky!? I swear I was smiling so much on this wedding day behind my mask, my jaw hurt SO much by the time I went home! I was SO happy for these two and so glad the day completely turned around for them. This day is FULL of beautiful, gorgeous inspiration for brides-to-be at one of my favorite venues!

Liz & Mike, I’m SO happy for you both and wish you nothing but endless love and laughter!! 🙂
