First wedding of 2018 is in the books and man oh man, was it an AMAZING one!! First of all, 80 degree weather in April!? That just doesn’t happen! My couples seem to always have the best luck ever and Krista & Rob ending up having the literal PERFECT day. Not only did we have fantastic wedding but these two decided to make their wedding day themed after Beauty & the Beast! (Also – would you believe this is the first of TWO beauty & the beast themed weddings I’m photographing this year?? I know, I can’t believe my luck either! lol) Krista & I bonded immediately over our love of Disney and Beauty and the Beast and we basically knew from our first email exchange that I’d be photographing her and Rob’s magical wedding day. It truly was magical! There were amazing references to Beauty and the Beast everywhere – from the invitations to the cake topper, even Rob’s gift to Krista was a beautiful Beauty and the Beast snowglobe! But the real show stopper was when Krista walked down the aisle to Beauty and the Beast played on the piano. I swear, in that moment everyone gasped and there instantly wasn’t a dry eye in the church – including Rob. He just smiled with tears in his eyes as he watched Krista walked towards him. After that though, it was nothing but smiles and an INSANE reception!! If you follow me on Instagram you saw I could not stop Insta-storying their reception – it was SO fun and nuts! When it was time for me to leave, I didn’t want to! People were holding people on their shoulders and pouring vodka into everyone’s mouths – HOW could I leave when that is happening?? lol It was an amazing day and I left their wedding day on such a high. These two are so sweet and fun and deserve nothing but the best and that’s just what they got!! I’m so so so excited to share my favorite images from their wedding with you today!! And a special thank you to Julliet for second shooting their wedding day with me! She did an amazing job putting up with a crazy bunch of guys, who lovingly referred to themselves as degenerates. We won’t be forgetting this day for a while 😉
