Today is the first day of summer and it felt like the PERFECT day to share Melissa & Greg’s engagement session at Liberty State Park! This session will instantly put you in the mood for summer with it’s bright colors, al fresco cocktails and two people in love 🙂 Melissa & Greg are such pros in front of the camera and it seriously felt like time FLEW by during their session because they were so comfortable! They are actually experts at having their picture taken – they had an engagement session done by someone else before booking me but since all my wedding packages have complimentary engagement sessions, they didn’t mind taking some more photos together and I’m SO glad they did! 🙂

We met up at the gorgeous Liberty State Park on a BEAUTIFUL and HOT day. I pulled up to Liberty State Park and for some reason, I totally forgot what nice weather does to people. lol It makes them want to go outside! Liberty State Park was PACKED and I’m not going to lie, I got a little nervous. It was really crowded. But as I waited for Melissa & Greg, I sat and watched as all the crowds magically dissapeared and then I knew everything would work out perfectly 😉 It doesn’t matter though… there could be MILLIONS of people around but these two are in a world of their own. They have the BEST smiles in the world. Seriously, you will find yourself smiling as you scroll through these photos.

I loved when Melissa told me they wanted to end their session with cocktails at the Liberty House because it was SO hot, that sounded like the perfect way to wind down their session and enjoy the sunlight! It was national rose day so Melissa ordered a proper drink 😉 We talked all about their wedding plans for their upcoming September wedding, where to find the best Mexican in their city of Jersey City and just couldn’t believe how PERFECT the weather was for their photos!
