Amy & Joey [Alpine, NJ Engagement Photographer]

One of the greatest joys in life is watching someone you know fall in love and find “the one” for them. One of MY greatest joys in life is being able to photograph their love! Joey and I go WAY back! Jose and I used to work with him back in the day at CVS Pharmacy and him and Jose immediately “clicked” and became friends. Joey and I met, bonded over our love of similar taste in music and a beautiful friendship was born! We have the type of friendship with Joey that you truly cherish… you go a few months without speaking but when you meet up, you pick up right where you left off and it’s like you just saw each other! When Joey contacted me about doing Amy & his engagement session, I was SO happy! Even more happy when they wanted to talk about my wedding prices too! This was so exciting for us because Jose and I hadn’t even met Amy yet so more than anything we just wanted to meet up with them and get to know her. Talk about two people that are just meant to be together! They are just so adorable together! And now here we are… 11 months away from their wedding day. October can’t come fast enough! Jose and I are SO excited to see these two get married and really celebrate their wedding day with them all day long! LOVE that part of our job 🙂 We don’t just get to go to the ceremony and reception but spend their ENTIRE day with them. I really do love that, especially when it’s with friends 🙂

Joey and Amy lead very busy lives and so we were able to squeeze their Engagement Session in right at the beginning of this month, before ALL the leaves disappeared on us. They picked the hiking trails of Alpine, NJ for their Engagement Session and it was GORGEOUS! It’s hard to understand just how beautiful it was being in those woods, with NO ONE around but us (and lots of woodland creatures!) and they could really let loose and just be themselves (of course, with me there taking their picture. Totally normal!) What made it even more perfect was that it was a morning engagement session! The sun light is just glowing and flattering early in the morning and hey! You’re done by 10am and have the whole day to enjoy afterwards 🙂 We walked all alone in the woods for an hour and a half, along their favorite trails they’ve hiked together and talking about all their wedding planning and how time is going too quickly! Next Ocotober WILL be here before we know it. For now – we have this beautiful engagement session to relive and enjoy! So grab a hot chocolate and blanket and get ready to feel all warm and cozy while admiring Amy & Joey’s love for each other in their adorable engagement session 🙂
